maiasaura were some of the first dinosaurs we found evidence of caring for their young- skeletons frequently found next to eggs and nests. they're not really all that popular but they're forever my favorite. i love you maiasaura

i understand why there are so many people complaining about fitpac wedding but also guys. think of the comedy potential for a fitpac wedding. them having to make their minecraft characters kiss. ccfit has his head in his hands and won’t stop fumbling his words. ccpac is shrinking down in his chair and you can only see like three hairs on his head at this point. fit makes ramon his best man. richas is the flower boy. fit and pac both get so flustered when they’re calling each other their husbands for the first time. fit would probably do the jumping jacks emote at the altar. pac would probs do the fall to pieces emote like a thousand times. they would be just as silly and awkward as they always have been. the comedy potential guys think about it

my slay the princess AU isn't much. it's simply another post-ending thing. the quiet leaves the construct with the mound. they give up their divinity in the process.

so this divinity is left behind with the rest of the Quiet and the rest of the Mound. namely, the construct, shaped from both gods.

hero, paranoid and all the other voices are left behind and kind of just expand the construct by themselves. they're not mortal, not exactly. more like if they die, they die, but they still carry some portion of the Quiet's divinity and ability. they all live in a nice little village now. but there's still so much of the Long Quiet that remains unexplored, and there's still so much more to learn and to do. so basically this is like a little fantasy slice of life and sometimes they go out and explore and fight monsters, the usual.

as for the Vessels it's more interesting. Shifty's final act of divinity, before coalescing into her heart and leaving it all behind, was going to be one of love. so just as she offered the Quiet perspectives to grow and change, she decided to offer these little aspects of him the same chances. a few vessels were cast aside from her multitudes to wander in the construct. the vessels that meant the most to the Voices. the vessels that helped and will continue to help them develop into their own people, rather than hinder, rather than obstruct.

tldr: I want to write cosy fantasy and I don't wanna focus on my main writing project so for now we just have this. fanfiction. of a niche fandom. when did I stoop this low /j

it happens when hes seven. He blinks and suddenly all he can see is blue, above and below, sky and sea. bright, shining blue, totally different from the pearly white walls and ceiling of his room. he blinks again, but the blue is still there.

He hears a grunt, full with confusion that he himself did not feel. after all, law was warned that this day would come. turning around, hes faced with a tall man, so much taller than him that it is ridiculous, and in the tall mans hands, there is the smallest baby of all time.

laws father was the one to explain why Lami would just disappear sometimes. as she in fact wasnt disappearing, she was being teleported closer to her soulmate. every day, once or twice she would disappear for a period of time and then appear again

lami was older than her soulmate by only a few months, but that made her the one who was pulled across the sea. soulmates worked like that, their father told him. they werent meant to be apart, so they didn't.

the older of a pair would be teleported to the younger one, so they could spend time together. law would also be taken to his soulmate one day, he just had to wait and be prepared to take care of them, since he was clearly the oldest one.

then he blinks and looks at the tall man and thinks that logically it is impossible that this is his soulmate, his eyes focus on the baby, the tiny baby that squirms in the mans arms and law knows that it is them

a moment later, the man seems to finally understand the situation. law watches his tired expression twist into one of resignation as he kneels down and shows him the baby.

''this is luffy.'' the man says, and he sounds loving, as if the baby is precious to him law just stares dumbly as the little baby grimaces, irritated at being moved and pulled from his slumber. he watches as the little round face contorts and suddenly the boat is filled with loud crying coming from the red faced baby when the man moves to rock the baby, a panicked expression on his face, its laws turn to grimace, impulsively approaching and pulling the man's cape.

"youre holding him wrong! you will only make him cry even more!" he makes him sit down, adjusts his posture, placing the babys head on the mans arm, ignoring the confused and curious looks he gets throughout the process. he does everything the same way he saw his father doing on the hospital once it takes a moment to get the baby to stop crying, but when they finally do, law finally asks.

"where is his mother? he might be hungry."

the man doesnt answer, a pained expression on his face and Law figures that its the wrong question to ask, so he continues. ''where are we going?''

"somewhere he will be safe." the man says, holding the baby tighter, a weird look in his eyes.

law blinks and "you're going to abandon him"

he watches as the man stiffens and sighs. "a child like you wouldnt understand." "my parents work in a hospital." law says, looking away from the man to luffy. "theres a little girl there, she was abandoned by her parents because shes sick. she has friends, she has nurses and doctors and even the nuns, but she always looks extremely lonely." the man finally looks at him, as if only now truly seeing law. law looks back.

''you shouldnt let him be lonely too. maybe he will never know of your existence, but I know he will miss your presence.''

and with that, when law blinks again, hes back in his room.

HRH The Princess Royal has been Patron of The Not Forgotten since 2000. We are absolutely delighted and honoured to announce that Her Royal Highness will be extending her Patronage of The Not Forgotten for a further three years, until November 2027.

Princess Anne has always been particularly engaged with the work of The Not Forgotten. The military and its veteran community is of great personal interest to her, holding as she does numerous military titles and patronages across the Royal Navy, Army and RAF.

She regularly attends our Garden Parties and Christmas Receptions – often with her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence - and joined us for our Centenary Reception at the House of Lords in 2021. Princess Anne also generously allows us to hold events such as Drive In Concerts and Fun Fests at her home at Gatcombe Park, Gloucestershire, as well as inviting us to bring groups of veterans to the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe for many years.

Princess Anne always spends a long time at our events talking to individual veterans, taking a real interest in their stories and experiences and responding with warmth and humour. For many of our beneficiaries, the experience of meeting Princess Anne is a highlight of their post-service life and a memory to last a lifetime.

We were relieved to hear of Her Royal Highness’s return home to Gatcombe Park following her accident last week, and we look forward to her inspiring presence and Patronage across the next three years.

maybe this is just because it feels like a metaphor for how tlovm uses vex in general (and i could write an essay about it and have and will again) but something that i both understand tlovm choosing to do and deeply hate as a choice they made is vex no longer being the one to break thordak’s crystal even though vax was still the one to kill him. especially since the show was very explicit about thordak being responsible for killing the twins’ mother and also set it up as a sort of avenging of percy, it felt tonally weird to literally just have vex hanging out in the background for both the crystal breaking and him being killed. it’s fine (deeply upset voice) i understand that adjustments to pike’s vestige made this make sense for the plot but. glad to have vex continue to be a witness in tlovm moments that in the campaign her agency in were delicious character moments. it’s fine.

I saw a Warrahim post which got me thinking of GhiraSky and...

What if both happened at the same time?

Ok ok, I know it sounds kinda weird, but: The Ghirahim's they meet are probably years apart. Potentially hundreds or thousands. It really depends on if you make Wars meet a Ghirahim from before Sky's journey, or if you make him meet one that's a bit closer to his own era...or even during Sky's journey, but that can be a bit messy.

I mean, Ghirahim is immortal. Yeah, he can be killed—and we kinda do at the end of Skywards Sword, but you can always find a way to revive him—but it'll probably take a while.

So what is he gonna do after Sky's dead? If they somehow have kids, maybe he can help take care of those. But they grow up, and are probably too old for that when Sky dies unless something happends.

Ghirahim is a widower, and they should of course be able to find another lover if they want...which leads to Warriors.

I mean, at least his type is consistent.

Definetly going to be awkward when they find out, though.

Going off the idea that Seto Kaiba runs cold, what if Yugi tends toward the other end and runs a little hot? Which means, in a relationship:

--Seto can and will find any excuse to hold him and glare at anyone who looks at them funny, this is HIS personal human-size hand warmer, he is not letting go for anything.

--When sleeping in the same bed, Yugi has kicked off half the blankets, which Seto has stolen and burrito'd himself into and has still managed to find a way to cling to Yugi in the process.

--Also feeding into the idea that Seto Is Very Bad At Feeding Himself Properly, if it is an iron deficiency (as some people in the first link have suggested), Yugi is damned well going to factor that in what he makes for Seto to eat, you need to take better care of yourself, dammit.
